SUMMARY:2022 CONSERVATION POSTER CONTEST
DESCRIPTION:2022-PACD-Poster-Contest-Flyer \nThe National Association of Conservation District’s announced their 2022 Poster Contest open to all public\, private\, and home school students in grades K-12. The 2022 theme is Healthy Soil: Healthy Life. Time spent in nature can benefit mental\, physical\, and emotional health. \nThe Lehigh County Conservation District’s mission is to provide environmental programs that train current and future generations of citizens and conservation leaders in our community. Art teachers in Lehigh County are currently being notified about the 2022 Poster Contest. Students will need to display how healthy soils mean healthy life through visual representations. \nWinning entries at the local level will be selected by the Lehigh County Conservation District staff and Board. Prizes will be awarded for 1st place in each age group (K-1st\, 2nd– 3rd\, 4th-6th\, 7th-9th\, and 10th-12th) and those winners will advance to the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts State level for judging. \nWinners from the State Level will then proceed to National competition\, which is sponsored by the National Association of Conservation Districts. \nIf your student is interested in participating in the 2022 event\, please e-mail our Environmental Educator\, Laura Hopek\, at LHopek@LehighConservation.org
