The Lehigh County Conservation District carried out the 2022 Lehigh County Envirothon at Trexler Environmental Center in April.
The ENVIROTHON is a program that educates High School and Middle School students in natural resources and environmental sciences, while providing students with the knowledge and tools necessary to address the natural resource challenges facing today’s world. The ENVIROTHON is a team competition, where students will compete for scholarships and prizes. The 2022 current environmental issue is “Waste to Resources.”
Congratulations to Salisbury High School, who won the local competition and advanced to the PA State Envirothon in May.
If your school is interested in learning more details about the ENVIROTHON and/or want to participate in the 2023 event, please contact our Environmental Educator, Laura Hopek, at LHopek@LehighConservation.org
