The Lehigh County Conservation District, in partnership with the Wildlands Conservancy and dedicated local volunteer groups, recently completed the planting of 400 native trees and shrubs on a property in Allentown.

This exciting project is part of a broader effort to restore the site to upland forest, creating vital habitat for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife. In addition to supporting biodiversity, the native plantings will play an important role in stormwater management and the overall health of the watershed.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and partners who made this restoration effort possible!
