On March 2, 2023, the Lehigh County Conservation District, in partnership with Lehigh County Authority and Penn State Extension, carried out a Gardens, Livestock, and Homesteads Workshop for homeowners that grow their own food and/or have livestock as pets for production. Participants were educated on the importance of keeping nutrients balanced, minimizing losses, and maximizing productivity on their land. We want to thank partners and participants for helping us reach our mission in protecting the natural resources throughout the watershed by minimizing pollutants that reach our local waterways.
