At this year’s annual Hydromania event, staff conducted an engaging Learning Lab on watersheds for several hundred 3rd and 4th grade students. The interactive session introduced students to the concept of local watersheds and explored how they function, emphasizing the ways in which they can be impacted by both human and natural activities. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, students gained a deeper understanding of water flow, pollution sources, and the importance of protecting water quality in their own communities.
